Inlet Manifold

What power gains would I be looking at if I were to put a 2.4 inlet manifold in my astra can get the parts for 100quid.
I assume I would lose fuel comp, any ideas on figures

Some have gained upto 18bhp, some have when fitted made none and other seemed to lose massive torque.

What people did notice is that it shifted the power higher up the rev range.

Cars that have been mapped dont seem like the mani at all.

If you do decide to fit it i would get it RR to make sure it doesnt run to lean.

rolling road m8 have alook around the ite so many ppl have em but some deslike em coz they do seem to loss ya torque

Not to fussed about torque tbh, just want it to be a little quicker not to fussed about fuel comp either.

Think I will, got a mechanic that has quoted 40 for fitting it plus 100 for the manifold so aint bad.. U might be able to help aswell with the irmscher back box for the astra SRI '3' fit straight on to the coupe. I assume it will but want to make sure b4 I agree to purchase....

i unsure ifthe pipes are the same m8 i would of thought so but i couldnt say for sure

hatch and coupe back box are totally different

the coupe's are longer so the tail pipe will be to short!

As said the back box on a hatch is much shorter also you need to check on fitment if you look at others as some are sleeve and some are flange fitment.

Dont forget BHP figures are not everything "Torque Turns" if you get a drop in torque the bhp gain is pointless.
