Differences Z22SE C to B Vectra

Hello,

i cant get a Z22SE from a crashed C with low mileage and maybe replace my own engine. What problems could I have doing that? The different inlet camshafts are known. The C has an air mass flow meter an another exhaust manifold and so on, but that are not big problems, cause I can take parts of my old engine.

What kind of solution do you think you can do with the camshaft? Taking the one from my old engine or coul I get problems with it?

cats are different so the loom will be different for lambdas

Lamdas, cat, thats not a problem. I wohld all take from the old engine.
Whats the case with the fuel pressure?

Thats what I thougt and all i hanted to hear. Today I am going to negotiate the price.

The epc tells me, that the clutch does not fit. 🙁

The engine is mine, by the way. Don't really know what to do with it. The Lexmaul manifold will find its way on it of course, and probably a lightened flaywheel. We'll see, what else.

Yes, there are a lot other different things. Injektors, TB, alternator, starter. But that doesn't hurt, cause, all I really want is the basic engine. But, the clutch with low mileage would have been a nice bonus. A new one cost more than 550 eur...

Do you mean the 2.2 direct (YH)?

Will the injectors from the C work in my B? They got another part number in the EPC.

some of the vectra C throttle bodies had a recess on the bottom for the gasket where as most of us know the gasket sits in the inlet manifold, also i noticed the butterfly is near enough flush with the bottom of the throttle body whereas the vectra B throttle body has a gap at the bottom hence you can port and polish it

the yh engine has 3 different injectors according to epc and can be identified by the colours green / white / yellow

the 22se engine has only one injector and that part number is 12569091

The YH doesn`t play a role here. Its an DI engine and the injectors and the head are cmpletely different.

The engine I got from the C is a SE. My EPC tells me, that the Vectra C Z22SE Injector hast the number 12564446. The one from the B the number is 12569091.

Edit: I got 3 TBs at the moment here. The one installed in my car, the one from the B and another one from an Astra SE.

the vx220 has different part numbers for the injectors but u can still use em

i think they give it new part numbers so they can charge u more based on model specific

Yeah, maybe its like that. But I have to be sure if they work before I will let them be refurbished.
Maybe I have some time this week so I will change them.

I was worried, that as the C has CAN-BUS, all sensors would be different. But thats not the case. Of course, some are different, but not all. The C got an mass air flow meter by the way.

did u buy the engine from the C in the end? I would be interested in the fuel rail from it if you still have it

Yes I did. I stripped it and the head is going to be done at the moment.
You can have the fuel rail, please send me an PM. I will search it this weekend.
