only had a small budget so hunted high and low for a decent Celica, found a guy in bath that was going back to poland this week and needed a quick sale, £1300 he wanted for a 1998 s plate....... went sunday, haggled it down to £1200, went today and got another an even bigger chunk off.. funny when you have a wad of twenties in your hand... good result..... £1000....................... still more than I could really afford.... but well...it's jap

Anyway needs a good bath, Tcut and a good coat of maguires wax..... that can wait till the weekend...

Some say it can do a ton in 3rd............. and have a few revs left at 135... but thats just what I was told on the way home......

These cars are bomb proof. My mate has had so many over the years that i've lost count. He can't help buying them. Yes they are quick and they seem to get a second wind after 5000rpm. Good choice! ;-)

yes it is, the astra goes this weekend............. gutted...

and it's a GT 2.0 173BHP

did over 2hrs cleaning the engine last night

That they do Johnny, low down power is ok, on par with the SRi but when they get in to the higher rev range they start to really pick up...

needs a real good service also

Know a few people now who has sold there vauxhalls for Jap cars ( like my self ) but i couldn't keep away from the coupe in the end! lol
