leaking exhaust manifold

hi all

could a leaking exhaust manifold cause the engine management light to flash?

nope

it is due to emissions from being read from your rear lambda saying the cat is being damaged

where would the cheapest place be to get a replacement cat?

i would get the fault codes read off the ecu first tbh m8, i had p1171 as a result of flashing light and it turned out to be a knackered fuel pump relay

my problem in the end was a piece of the pre cat falling down the downpipe

i took it to vauxhall last week and they couldnt find the promblem

the code that came up was p0300 random misfire and the couldnt pinpoint it

the problem seemed to start after the car wouldnt start so had to bump start it so i am kinda thinkin it was unburnt fuel in the cat that
has damaged it
could i be right in sayin this?

does sound like a coil pack or a faulty spark plug

spark plugs have been changed with proper vauxhall ones

and vauxhall changed the coil pack with no change
