Sheared bolt

Hi peps

Just been looking at my exhaust manifold and found the top left (if looking from the front of the car) bolt has sheared off. Any easy way of getting this out, any little tricks people have used to make it easy? the thought of trying to drill it out doesn't fill be with joy but its all i can think off.

You can buy a tool called an Eazi-Out. You basically drill a smaller hole in the stud and screw this tool in as a reverse thread. By tightening the tool it turns the stud in the anti-clockwise direction so that it comes out.

If you can get to it with a mig welder i usually weld a nut on top of the broken stud and remove it that way, allways works for me !!

both good ways above or a good pair of mole grips if there is some stickin out of top when u remove the manifold.
