reverse lights not working!

hi guys this thread is not vx, my mrs has a pug 206 and the reverse lights dont work!
i have checked the lamps and they are fine and i have checked the fuse board but cant find a fuse for the reverse lights alone!
what else can it be or should i look for?

maybe a switch on gearbox

Same again, Thats the only other thing i can think of...

where would the switch on the gear box be? would it be gear stick end or on the gear box its self?

Maybe under the gear shift gaiter. Shoud be a switch on the reverse gear linkage?
