high there guys i have got 02 plate vectra 2.2 sri 51 thousand miles on clock getting ticking from engine don.t know if its the timing chain again or a lifter or i heard you can get a ticking noise from the exhaust manifold on these engines ? i got this car 3 years ago with 27 thousand miles on clock just had its timing chain done then i knew the previous owner so i know for sure it got done ticking noisy on start up gos away when hot was wondering what you guys thought i was thinking if its the chain again of changing the engine for 2.0 what would be needed would the gearbox and clutch be the same
i would need to change the front pipe exhaust and manifold ecu i would get a donor car for the change anyway
any information from you guys would be great
