Vauxhall Carnage @ POD

One of my mates in into the Vauxhall scene and one of their guys was at Pod last weekend trying to set new 1/4 time. You'll prob know the car from TOTB, it's the crappy looking purple one with N/A 2.0 XE with about 30000 shot of gas!

Anyway, 3/4 of way through the run, engine lets go so coasts over the line in 11.9 @ 103mph!!! Would've been a SILLY quick time!

Gaz & Andy like to do it in style... they have done loads of work over the winter to get it ready but unfortunately the crank snapped on that run! They were running one of the XEV/OPC cranks and have done for at least 18 months - and fuck does that car get some abuse 😃

They've got most of the bits to get a new engine built now though, including new rods, steel crank etc etc... Keep an eye on Vauxsport.com for progress.

They are determined to run a 10 with that car 🙂
