Hi guys,
new to the site, got a 51 reg 2.2 sri pride and joy until 3 weeks ago the engine seized.
had it stripped down and lots like no oil has been getting to it -- was qutoed £1400 in parts to repair, have decided to go for a replacement engine.
What advice do you have when this is being fitted so that I can give some pointers to the mechanic, i.e common problems, things to do to aviud this kinda thin happening again etc.
the car was always serviced at kwik fit or masterfit so I am baffled as to why the oil pumped became clogged and the oil look like fekin mayonaise!! lol
any help is appreciated as I place to start some mods once shes all up and running again
