Mine was leaking oil, bought a new pump and the tool and removed the old pump. Turned out whoever had last fitted a pump (as it wasn't the GM pump) had left a tiny piece of metal across the seal, and instaed of taking the pump back off decided to seal with silicone, which didn't make much difference. Changed the pump anyway.
