Crack on my manifold

I have just noticed a crack on my manifold 🙁. Should I be worried about it or is it ok (Probably not ok). It's on my Gsi Z20LET. I hav ebeen out in her today and it seems fine, boosts ok. Cheers

put yer hand over it and if you feel the air coming out then replace

it will get worse as it warms up imo

you should replace it really mate tbh. it could get wores then one day it could die.
time for the vxr unit 😛

True, but how long til the Vxr one does the same? Shame they did not make them a bit stronger

get another one mate while its off will give you the chance to replace that stud too

Good idea, will be great when it's all done and new turbo. Just need to start saving more cash up lol. It's getting painted on Monday at £350

That's not a bad price for the paint Mark, especially as it's Hard-On Blue 😃

it's a shame that you spotted that cracked, but at least you can get it replaced a get that stud removed too

buy a vxr turbo and get the stud done at the same time 🙂

Thats for two sides done and the front end Matt. It's not a bad price. I just hope it's a good job, as he does not use an oven to dry the paint. I have been offered a second hand manifold thats done 25k. Should I just go for that or replace the full lot? I have just been out in it again and it's boosting lovely 😃

I think it comes with the Turbo, thats £500. I might as well get the full lot done

vxr turbo is about 500 and its boosts higher as well 😃

That what I will be getting, I don't think you can buy the old one any more. My actuator was bent from the accident and with the Vxr Turbo you get a new one with it 🙂
