Matt are they basically the same engine but the vectra has its pump bolted to the head . is it possible to remove the pump and fit the astra blank ?? are the cam ends differnt between the two ? cheers phil
JohnnyN The Vectra has a Hex drive cut into the end of the inlet cam but this makes no difference. Just remove the pump and fit the blanking plate as you would on an Astra or vx220.
