Mark_Dj Here is a little update on my Gsi. It's now Moted and Taxed just waiting for it to go into the paint shop. It also needs a new Map Sensor. Tonight I have just noticed that one of the bolts on the manifold is missing! I would have thought it's probably snapped in the head 🙁. Apart from that it's come along great from when I bought it. It's had a service and timing belt changed so far. I just hope this snapped bolt is not going to give me grief.

Mark_Dj It is blowing a touch, it seems to go away when warm though. It sounds like a tappping noise like a tappet. Cheers for the comments 🙂

Daniel na they are i no 🙁 i have 1 live near me same colour as yours and i ust love the look of it just looks mean never spoke to the bloke but we have nodded at each othe when he rips it past me lol should ask him to take me out lol
Daz Common fault on the x20xev/z20let mark....that stud always seems to shear or go missing at some point....manifold needs to come off and get the old one drilled out ...or as vocky says the manifold may warp..
Mark_Dj Just been to Vauxhall today and they said it's 5 hours to do that job on my manifold. Cost at £350. My car goes in for paint on Monday 🙂

MikeS very very common due to heat around the thermostat area also the bolts on the camcover tend to seize up the redtops are exactly the same the tapping noise is most certainly an air leak on the manifold
