how long to check timing?

what am i looking at here?

getting garage to do it.

what will the best way to tackle it?

does it rattle when ya first start the car ??? or is the chain slack ?? you would see this by looking under the cam casing 🙂

it sounds bit like a tractor when idling. like a constant tapping noise. just trying to determine or eliminate causes for random missfire.

gonna sound silly question. is the cam cover the one one the end? or is it the one on top? or is that the rocker cover?

my knowledge is tiny llol
