ace-media Hi Guys, I've had a bit of a search through but couldn't find anything specific... Why exactly does the Z22SE not take well to a decat? Other than the second lambda turning the EML on to tell you there is a problem will it cause any running problems at all? Cheers cheers..
sdbutler10 i ran my car with out a cat for over 500 miles and i had no light and car was fine. i only put cat back on as ot was way to nosiey.
ace-media Thats good to know! The noise doesn't bother me, it'll still be quiet compared to my old Astra...lol I need to have it back to the level of annoying my neighbours 🙂
sdbutler10 just try it to see if the eml light comes on. i had the back sensor out of the exhaust so it was just in the air.
papamatt182 hello mr ace-media i am looking at getting a de-cat pipe when i get paid at the end of the month. i am just unsure where to get a rear lambda simulator if my eml light comes on. i have taken the cat out on all my vauxhalls, i dont mind the noise just have my ipod turn up abit louder
