I already have the software [vauxcheck & enginecheck with elm327 interface, all the sensor readings are available in graph format on enginecheck whilst vauxcheck will bring up every code for the z22se engine, now quite a few generic obd2 readers do pick up engine fault codes but they also fail to read the manufacturer specific codes [vauxhall specifc engines], i.e stored codes for example, i believe the software is very stable, ergonomic and easy to use and it is far the best obd2 reader & software i have used, this is not the cheap sutff u get off ebay, it is as good as the tech2 devices vauxhall use imo but without the sensor actuators and other specific things tech2 do like mapping, vauxcheck will read codes off tc / abs / immobilizer & autobox ecu's, i used it on my m8s 1.8 auto zafira today and it worked a treat !!
so basically enginecheck is good for reading sensor values in real time with graph format and resettting the ecu whilst vauxcheck will read vauxhall specific codes, reset the ecus for the engine / TC/ ABS / automatic / Immombilizer - this is subject to coverage so please click on the compatability tables on the gendan website below
