Sjdickso As said AMD are well known in VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda i would ask what they will be altering and if they will raise the rev limiter. Very good find and i would say with AMD's reputation you could be on to a winner, good find cheers..
techieboy AMD were one of the first companies to be able to map the Z22SE in the VX220. That was a while back when they were based in Bicester, before going tits up and being bought out. Like others have said, they have a decent enough reputation in the VAG world and I had one of their generic maps on my Audi before going custom (funnily enough done by the ex-AMD mapping expert).
