who would be interested in a O2 sensor spacer?

i got a technician at college to make one up for me.

it pulled my second lambda sensor out of the gas stream enough to trick the ecu.

cause before i got it made, the senor was all over the place. 100mV, 400mV,700mV! (got a 200cell cat) now its a steady 40mV,60mV (cant remember what it actually was, but mechanic reckons its spot on now)

if he is up for making some, would there be any interest?

this is all dependant on if he can do it, and what he would charge. dont think it would be much. prob £5 - £10.

not sure on the price yet mate. (maybe £10, not sure on how long it took him etc)

dont even know if he can do it. but if i was to go to him, all these people want one. he might be up for it.

I hope it works for you all. We played around with Neils car when it was here trying different length spacers but none of them had any effect on the EML 🙁 If anything it came on quicker, was most odd.

i had no light come up from the sports cat (it was already on from my mysterious misfire one lol)

but the readings were all over the place. but when put it in, they were down to steady 60mV (think that was rough reading)

just tried speacking to the technician, could chat long as he was in middle of class, so will be speaking to him later in the week.

but he said that if he can do them, will have to be in our next holiday, which will be week begining 6th april. if people will still be interested.

but will speak to him later in week and see if we can arrange something.

That sounds pretty good for me, i've already got a set of them sparkplug non fouler things inbound, so if they dont work, this sounds like a better item.

Well just to let you guys know i had a spacer made up just done 2,000 miles no EML great but today pop up she came. so not 100% sure if these spaces will stop the EML they may just slow it down.

have you had yours plugged into diagnostic?

whats the second sensor reading?

what should it be reading?

cause mines, before was all over the place!! 300, 500 etc mV. now its steady around 60 - 70mV when idling, then about 100mV ish when revs up

thats just from memory. and mine aint been in as long as yours either mate.
