Hi all, so glad i've found this site.
I have had my 2001 2.2 SRI 150 Vectra for 6 months. It had been using loads of oil since i bought it, a good 1-2 litres every 300 miles. It smokes a little on start up which Isounds like it could be the piston rings. When driving it doesn't seem to smoke an awful lot until i rev over 3500rpm, then it fills my rear view mirror like the batmobile!! Should i look at gettin the piston rings replaced, and is this gonna be an expensive job? Thanks
P.S The engine management light is on, vauxhall diaganosed this as a cat fault (below threshold). Does this mean I should replace the cat now, or would it better to sort the oil leak first.
Thanks for any help
