my zafs doin my head in

hi all

my zafira is playing up

the zaf will idle perfect until warm then it just wants to cut out on you when slowing down for junctions

i have changed the coolant temprature sensor - replaced with genuine vx part

the zaf was fine for two days now worse than ever

there is no engine managment light coming on

when its idling rough its puting 57 - 60 % load on enginge at 700rpm (obd reader) when your driving its fine when above 2500 rpm

anyone have any ideas

what is your map sensor saying at idle in terms of kpa - should be about 30

wot voltages are you getting from your lambdas when warm

my obd scanner dont give me those readouts

i need some decent software for the laptop

but me thinks i'll call aa tomorrow and they can get it sorted lol

This sounds familiar to the coil pack. Have you changed that?

had aa out today to look at zaf

he pluged his laptop in all voltage values are as should be

he said needs to go vx to be pluged into tech2

he did unplug idle control motor then pluged back in
no funny thing is cars ben fine since

he put down itermitant fault susspected idle control motor

cars booked into local vx stealer on wednesday

there isnt an idle control valve on the z22se

there is a map sensor and air intake sensor

got the zaf back from vx today all fixed

new egr valve = £256 gen vx
thorottle body cleaned £35 plus change

cost me £62 in total
my aa warranty didnt cover thorottle body being cleaned
