Yeah, idles a lot better. I know VX fit the new EGR when the fault comes up, as it's actually the solenoid that opens/closes the valve that gets caked up and seazes (the new one stops any soot from reaching it), but they don't actually clean the opening into the inlet manifold. Mine was literally blocked, with only two very small openings left. There really must have been 5 years of shit built up in there.
