only about 20 quid as well

looks like you wire it up to the connector for the post cat lambda and hook up the other end to the lambda wiring, my guess all it does is reduce the voltage output to make out the cat is working very well and the fumes are lean

i seen how some simulators work and they produce .1 volt pulses whereas a standard post cat should be pulsing around .3 - .6

to create on myself. I mounted it yesterday and just came back from a test drive. Untill now, it seems to work, no MIL yet...
can be easily mounted under the hood. Just locate the connector of the O2 sensor (on the left) and place the eliminator attached to the brown and black wires (leave the white ones).

i am still wary of how they work

after extensive research the ecu tests the output of both lambdas every 100 miles or so and if it is out then it brings up the p0420 dtc

i am using the standalone simulator with capacitors for the heater so in effect the rear lambda is unplugged and not used

done about 200 miles so far and it is working well with no stored codes
