Insurance Renewal time!!

Well, I had the dreaded renewal through yesterday and it had gone through the £600 barrier to £619. After a swift PM to Dan at Adrian Flux last night and this morning and a phonecall with a lovely lady, I have a new premium of £550. And i've raised the limited mileage to 5000 miles from 3000 so I can enjoy getting the car out a bit more in the next 12 months.

Huge thanks to Dan for his swift response this morning and all at Adrian Flux.

No point in compare sites for me. Far too many mods to get an online quote. I'm registered under the Specialist Vehicles category.

Corr.. I wish mine was well under a thousand! Im paying £2012 for 10 months! Thats fully comp, on my own policy but ive been on my dads insurance up till 8 months ago, so i have no - No claims bonus :thumbdown:

ive just renewed mine, my renewal was 557 and i mangaed to get it down to 319 with chris knott!

thats a good price John. Glad to hear you are gonna get out with it more this yr and enjoy it.
Shane - christ thats high, how old are you???...i was paying £262 FC on the astra coupe, with all mods declared, like for like on bodykit, wheels etc, and agreed value of 9k, the BMW 330 clubsport is only around £416, with springs and bryf induction kit declared. And the M3 i might be getting is only £494.

Im 20 years old ( 21 in September ) i have no years no claims, have been on my dads up until last August.. il have one years in June 😃 so will start to look around for cheaper insurers..

Any of you guys got any suggestions for cheap insurance companies with a good rep.. dunno..

im with adrian flux and found them to be good. im 20 now i started insuring my car when i was 18

I've been with both Adrian Flux and Chris Knott.

Chris Knott were £200 cheaper for the Vectra than Adrian Flux, and I pay £570 with everything declared.

chriss knott are good ive just insured mine with them and the fellow on the phone reminded me that i used them once before 11 years ago! it made me feel quite old , then we reminisced about the good old days i was 19 and had to join the xr owners club just to insure my xr2i, otherwise i couldnt get insured. it was an owners club insurance scheme through them.

and as i remember they were good back then and still are now!

ahh cheers guys! i got a quote from adrian flux and that was 1225! £800 less but i have to wait for this insurance to run out so i can get my one years no claims. how can i get in touch with chris knott?

My renewal quote on the vec this year was just over £500 including protected no claims,legal cover,windscreen cover and there full breakdown package.......obvioulsy due to the vec being no more and having no car at the time i didnt renew......
Then got the scoob and exactly the same policy on that was £460.....
