Just had 3 young lads in an old pug 205 gti in my street having a good nose at mine and the wifes cars...they seen me looking thru the window pointed up to me and the drove off sharpish...could be nowt but a bit worried due to loads of cars goin missing in the nxt village latley...

I would hide you keys or take them to bed with you and make sure the house is well locked at night, just incase they try to break into the house for the keys. Also block the best car in with the other one :wink: . I hope they don't come back mate. Also remove any goodies in the car and remove your radio front if it's removable

I also hope you have locking nuts on the alloy wheels of yours. If not you may have to remove one wheel so they don't get a full set if they fancy your rims..

yeah agree with Mark, make sure the keys are well hidden.

it might be nothing but you can't be too carefull these days.

Around my way lately these scum bags have been walking into peoples houses during the day and taking the car keys and making off with the car. Used to leave my keys hanging in the back of the door but now keep them well hidden.

They may also fancy pulling your front bumper off as this has happened before in areas. Park it close to another car so they can't remove it :wink:

i always take the both cars keys upstairs with us,i got locking nuts on both cars so hopefully wheels are safe,sleeps with the window open too and the slighest sounds sends my dogs nuts..just set the video camera up in the window as a deterrent...

yeah read on another forum today that some guys bumper off his Fiesta ST was stolen, how exactly can a bumper be stolen with the bonnet shut notsure.gif

Most the fastenings for the bumper is at the sides and just under the bottom. They remove all these then just pop it off. My mate had his Vectra Gsi one nicked last year. All the screws were missing. My other mate nearly lost his bumper last week, he heard them and chased them.

just nicked my daughters web cam off her,as the camcorder only records for 90mins...is it poss to record of the webcam?

Yes it is mate. With the web cam on you pc it should have a record function while the cam is on notsure.gif

might be after bits in the house rather than the car. put some steering wheel locks on etc. make your car harder to steal than the one in the next street. thieves like easy work. another good one is chain the pedals to the steering wheel and then padlock it. one guy down my street chains his van to a telephone pole lol.

Nope,bin really quiet round here for the past few days...theres only 4 houses in my street so dont get many people in it,thats how i noticed them the other nite...
