Hi all, I have notice there is a little free play in the steering. When I say a little it’s about ¾” to 1” free movement before the steering moves. I notice when I was driving down the motorway the steering wheel was off centre so when I corrected it the car started to turn left. I said to myself the tracking if off so I got that done and still the steering wheel is off centre but not as much. There is some free play though. My NCT (MOT) is due next week and im concerned it will fail because of this. Do I need a new steering rack or is there something else I can do?
