I'm doing a sc conversion at the moment, what do you want to know ?
You have finally give in then Mate  Glad to hear it.
On the other hand the Harrop is a great unit but you NEED an engine which will take the power as a base unit you will get 300 just by fitting it so that means rods certainly, the pistons are about at the max level I would want to run. There is a chap in Germany who runs the standard m62 unit at about 295bhp on standard pistons.
Anything over that and its forged pistons to add to the list then uprated valves, large bore exhaust 4-1 mani ect, cams, ect just read stupid amounts of moneyand I mean stupid.....
As for drivability I will let you know
I would if I was starting out with a standard NA go for one though with the piper system, do the rods and head, fuel pump, ect and accept 300bhp
Just for info I am talking with harrop Australia about a group buy for these units it's on the vx22.org site.
