zafski Has anyone mangaged to change the clutch on on of these at home. The haynes manual suggests that it can be done but I guess the car would have to be fairly high up on stands to manage it. It it still possible to hire tools anywhere (Kent) as I would need a frame to hold up the engine.
vocky hire an engine hoist or frame, then drop the box off you will need to remove the passenger suspension and subframe also worth fitting a lightened flywheel if you fancy better engine response, they cost about £220
zafski I'm afraid that any toys have to have MX5 printed on the box. Ever seen this done with axle stands etc I can use a big high lift jack but would'nt want to get it half apart and find you cant get the subframe out.
