there is no need to re-align the balancer shaft chain when changing the camshaft chain, the cam timing chain is the one used for compression.
as long as either number 1 or 4 is tdc then the timing can be set, you followed my timing post so therefore you should have compression, so I would do a compression test, it's most likely the inlet valves will be bent, even at tickover 🙁
the exhaust valves should all be ok
