pre cat removed

as heard someone told me about this have cured the flatspot and i am no mechinec myself and how i do this where i take it to ??? what garage as would they do it eh ??? :crazy:

there is a how to guide on here m8 its easy really bit fidly at times but once ya have the pipe in ya hands its and easy little mod and yeah it does seem to help the flat spot and makes tha car sound better too 🙂

ah cheers i just downlaod and read it mmhh so why it all cover up and tehn removed it seem tehre is no air coming thru lol

so looking at that is that pre cat is from the rear manifold then ???

and also i dont have the tools for it and wonder is tehre a scotland section that has a 2.2 vectra there mmmhh i pop have a look

yeah its just under the manfold joint ifthat makes sences lol it dont need to be there its just for when the car first starts to keep the emisons down but you have no probs wid taking out after like mots and eml lights the car runs better for it i think they stopped putttin in astra from 03 onwards lol

LOL no wonder the vauxhall knew about and stop sell it lol but it can replace it from older astra g to newer 03 astra g guess it still work lol

so mean i have to complete removec the manfold and tehn drill out the pre cat then

would it be hard to removed the manifold as it on the rear of the engine lol

you dont have to take the madifold off ther tree bols the top secton you need to take off and should be a clamp the other end near the cat
