I'd thought I would have a go at these silicone pipes and so fourth
i tried the veccy c pipe but i didnt like the fact the fpr vacuum would have to be moved to the manifold unless i cut out some thin plastic, i didnt want to chance splitting the pipe
so i bought a 90 degree 70 mm elbow for 13 quid and a 45 degree 70 mm elbow for 14 quid along with some cheap aluminium tubing for 7 quid, the most expensive part was the tee for the fpr connector and it cost 16 quid
here is the first pic, please be aware it aint the finished article as the hose needs to be tidied up a bit as it isn't cut straight and i cut my thumb [ down to the bone ] with a stanley knife, so i am waiting for it to heal a bit before i give it another go

here is the intake from the side, notice how i have had to cut it down at the tb so the bonnet wont squash the pipe down, it still touches slightly but if i cut out a bit of the underneath carpet it should fit nicely

now here is the neat trick, i have tried the various fpr mods and tbh i noticed it runs better at standard in terms of mpg and performance, here is the little tool that cost more than anything else

finally the ATS - i cut out around an 18 mm hole and used some fairy liquid to push in the rubber insert, the hardest part was trying to get the ats in without the insert pushing straight through, it was a very tight fit that took about 5 mins of fooking about but i made sure there was no air leaks

I noticed quite a decent improvement tbh, more induction noise, more power through the mid range and it is a lot smoother, the engine will tick over very nicely when coasting and she is very very quiet
enjoy lads
the total cost was about 50 quid if you exclude postage [6 quid] and the little tee was 17 quid, so really if you can do without the fpr sitting on the intake pipe then it will cost you about 35 quid - 15 quid more than the standard veccy c intake pipe, anyone wants links then just ask
