Looking at a remap

Has anyone had a thorney motorsport power pack 1? On their website its £250 but have been informed its gone up to £350 now. Is it worth the money?

Currently running:

Bigger air intake,
Ported and polished throttle body
2.4 intake manifold
piper exhaust manifold
2.5" system and 200 cell cat

Is it worth having the remap now or should the cams be done 1st??

I'm not sure if that remap has been updated with the 2,4 manifold ????

it's not worth getting a remap unless you have finished all the mods, certainly replace the cams before getting the remap done

That map that they offer is for a standard car for what you have you need to get a custom one which takes about a day and about 600quid as well.

I was thinking about cams in this year yeah Danny haven't really looked into it yet though.

The way they describe the map is they drive the car 1st so it wouldnt matter if it was standard or not as it would be a live map. no?

you need a custom map. that map as i said if for a standard car they just get it off the shelf sort of on for a standard engine they can adjust that one a bit for the standard engine if its needed but as you have changed the exhaust, inlet manifold and want to put cams in you need to have a live map so it all runs correctly together.
the map they offer is not a live map. its a plug and play jobbie.
