De-restrict the airbox on my Turbo?

Anyone have a how to guide on this. The one on Astra Sport does not work for me. Something about You've been caught trying to hot link notsure.gif :roll: . I need to know what to remove inside the airbox as it's been a while since I did this mod what.. . Cheers

dont have guide but the one pipe just pulls out the other you have to push the pipe inside the box like on the guide for the 2.2 😃

well thats how i think you do it anyway :lol:

So do I throw one of the pipes away from inside, is it no good? 😛

you get rid of both pipes on your box i think.

the 2.2 has a cloth end to it so you remove this and put the plastic bit back in to fill the small holes on the outside of the box.but on the other engines i beleave its one solid pipe so you can do this notsure.gif

Have a look on www.zlet.co.uk Their is a how to on there on fitting a 2.2 air box, as it is less restrictive.

Thats link above is off mate what.. . I have just done the mod to my airbox. I only needed to remove one pipe as thats all it has :lol: 8)

How annoying, just tried the link myself and it won`t work, but if i type the address in to my browser it works no probs what.. Have a go at doing that and see what happens, its a good site although you have to email them to become a member and get access to the forum. Not much hastle though

The reason the link wont work is because there is 2 full stops at the end of the url.

I've fixed it now, it should be www.zlet.co.uk

So you'll be getting through more petrol now mate as you've free'd up a few more ponies.

the the php code used on the site recognises the link, and automatically creates a link to it.
