I was on the receiving end of road rage 2 years ago. My 13 month old daughter removed her hair clip and put it in her mouth and started to choke on it as we were driving round a round-a-bout. I lent back to try and hook it out of her mouth and drifted across one lane in front of this chap. He beeped his horn and I put my hand out the window to say sorry. He got up by the side of me and called me a w4nker thru the window and gave me lots of hand gestures.
I proceeded to give him the one finger flick and dropped down to 2nd gear and leave him behind. At the next set of light they turned red!
He jumped out of his car and I made the mistake of opening my door. He dragged me out onto the side of the carriage way and kicked the sh1t out of me leaving me with a broken tooth, heavily bruised bollocks, split lip and a battered face. My wife managed to get him away and he calmly got back in his car to drive off.
I managed to get up and stand in front of his car to stop him leaving the scene. He just backed up and ran me over! He then got stuck in more traffic about 50 yards up the road, so I chased him on foot and thumped him through the window in the side of the head, splitting his ear open.
The Police were involved and in the end he went to court and was fined £50 and bound over for 12 months. A few weeks later, I received a notice to say that I was being prosicuted for assult on this chap because I created another offence by chasing up the road to a new scene and hitting him thru the window.
I have now got a Police record for common assult and my finger prints, DNA sample and photo are all on file.
And my little girl had to see the whole thing.
