Mark_Dj Well my Gsi turned up today and after a quick wash and a look around her it's in pretty good condition, apart from the front damage. Both xeon headlights are damaged 🙁. All the clips are broke. I am not sure if I should try and repair them or buy 2 new ones. It looks like it's had a nice car audio system in it at some stage, as all the wiring is still fitted. I noticed it has also got window tints and the front screen looks like it has a hint of purple in it, different from my other Astras. The cars interior is in very good condition, even the drivers seat 🙂. The alloys are in poor condition ie kerb marks but the tyres are all mint. I think I will start to strip it down in a min.
Drakey Look fwd to another one of your strip/fixes. Gonna be a cracking car when finished. Any idea of time-scale from initial inspection of damage?
Mark_Dj Parts I need are... Radiator Air con rad and fan 2 headlights Bumper bar Front bumper Bonnet I will have the rad stuff next week and maybe the bumper bar. The front bumper will be the hardest part to get lol. Should be done in a month or 2 I hope
Mark_Dj It sure will be nice when finished 🙂. It's got 59000 miles on the clock. It starts and drives but has a broken sensor on the intercooler from the crash.
sdbutler10 Dam i hate you lol. they going to be a nice car once its all done.how much pay for that if you dont mind me asking. i have always thought on buyin an accident damaged car but never really got in to it.
