BBC Watchdog: Vauxhall 2.2 fault

Not sure if this has been posted before, just seen BBC Watchdog program saying there is a fault with the 2.2 fuel pump and regulator on Vectra's, Signums and some Zafira's, causing the engine to stop or go into limp home mode. :think:

Luckily no Astra's or VX220 have been reported to be faulty. showo..

glad my 03 astra isnt affected well not yet anyhow

i have the same 2.2 thats in the vectra c the one with the black plastic rocker cover
our 2001 2.2 zaf has the old metal rocker cover

though it does look like its the 2.2 direct that has the fault

You dont, youd have the z22se engine and not the z22yh / 2.2 direct engines which are affected.
