hi all
well yesterday i went and collected a center section from matt with the intention of fitting it to the zafira
i offered it up this morning and i looked like it would fit on so 2 hours later after removing the old one
i found out its different (Sods Law) the zafira has a totally different tank design and the center section needs to clear it
there must be a company out there that do a stainless steel center section for a zafira or am i the only person in the uk
that wants to replace inferior parts for uprated on a zafira
i have made numerous calls to exhaust specialist who could make me an exhaust (one is in sheffield was in sheffield yesterday aswell but in astra) but they need the car to do it
now in removing the old exhaust it required the technical removal tool called a big hammer (now old exhaust mullered) so now im left with no choice but to buy a cheap an nasty center section for the zafira unless i can find a place local that can make stainless center section from the old one
im based in corby northants any ideas would be very welcome
on a more positive note the center section i got from matt will now be going on my astra (after much checking and double checking before i remove the old one) doesnt help me with the zafira though LOL
