Can use a coolant PWM converter for my ecu swap...
Edit: Looked a bit more into this with my spare Stack unit, and the signal is different than described in the 1st post here.
The Gn/Bu wire (Stack pin A6) has 5.0V coming out and shows 999°C
When this is grounded, the temp drops in a few steps to no-readout.
(Intermitting ground pulsing this wire shows values around 100°C)
I'm no electronics man, but played a bit with resistors and it looks like the Stack uses a buffer with the signal wire PWM grounded by the ecu, depending on the ECT sensor input. Now how do I build something like this??
PS, found another glitch in the instrument wiring diagrams: The MIL light is not 12v switched by the ecu as in the diagrams (pin B5), but <u>ground switched</u>. At least that is something that will works together with my P12 ecu.
