You assume correctly, the tailpipes will be a seperate item. Two main benifits to this, the first is that it gives you some adjustment on lining up the tailpipes to get them perfect in the exit hole and the second is that, as you say, it gives us the option of making a "track specific" tailpipe which will run quieter.
We use a full race competition packing material for the internals of our silencer. This is designed to withstand alot of heat and abuse. We only use it in competition appications normally but will be using it in this silencer also. Its the same stuff we use in our Noble and Ginneta G50 systems for example. As you get a warranty with these systems tho, if anyone has any problems, just send it back and we can re-pack them although i dont think this will be a problem 🙂
