im not saying i believe in god but to claim people who do are "mentally ill" is going a bit to far, and i also believe you are probably hypocrites. i dont for one minute believe that either of you have not :1 got married in church :2 had your children christened and 3 had or will have a funeral for a relative in church or at a crematorium and have a priest conduct a service.

i think of religion another way , i think of it as a way of bringing people together and something for people to focus on.
also Tim sri seeing as your a big liverpool fan i bet you darent go stand in your beloved "kop end" and shout aloud that any who believes in god are mentally ill, as far as i know liverpool has a large catholic population!
maybe after the hillsbrough disaster , people will have looked to god for comfort.
im also disappointed that vocky agreed with this comment, i had you down for an educated man, again non believing is fine but "mentally ill"
