Oil Leak O/S Drivers side

Hi guys just wondering if somebody could point me in the right direction?
I have an astra coupe, which doesnt really miss a beat, earlier today i noticed a small amount of oil (seapage), on the O/S Drivers side of the engine, towards the back. (O/S Rear of the engine i suppose)

The seapage looks like its coming from behind a pulley of some sort, but not 100% sure.

As i say its not a huge amount of oil, no drips etc, just a smear on the bottom of the engine.

Its just that i have to do a 5oo mile round trip next month and i am a little bit worried.

Any suggestions of where the leak maybe coming from??

that sounds like the crank pulley oil seal needs replacing, the seal is about £10 + fitting

it will just gradually get worse, a 500 mile journey should be fine, just keep an eye on the oil level

That sounds reasonable, any body know somebody who will do the timing chain?

Benny is the man for timing chains, whilst it's apart it takes 2 minutes to swap the crank pulley oil seal 🙂
