further to my recent threads the issues seem to have died down a bit
last night i fiddled with the injector close to the cam cover as it looked not in line a bit further out than the rest
i also pumped a shed load of injector cleaner into a full tank
now the misfire has gone - i haven't it all today going to and back from work but it is still slightly hesitant around 2500 then sometimes pops back into life around 4.5k
just wondering whether it might well be the injectors or the coil pack settling in
i also wd40 the connectors for the lambda sensor bottom of the bulkhead
i did notice the engine would misfire a lot more when fiddling with that injector whilst running
i also found out that this engine switches off the injector on the troublesome cylinder when misfire occurs so it makes it even worse ? for a short period until the injector starts up ?
i might get the injectors out on tuesday, is there any specific way of fitting, asll i did was pull em out of the fuel rail then push the new ones in then push it into the head
