Just Treated My self To A New Head Unit

Just this minute treated my self to a new... 7" Touch Screen/BLUETOOTH Car CD/DVD/TV/MP3/iPod Player 😃

At the moment i have a Alpine cd player but only plays WMA, which is pritty useless when i have thousands of MP3 songs etc.. SO i settled for this one :thumbup:

Same one Danny?? How good is it? ..I brought one before on ebay (without screen) n it was so cheaply made, the buttons broke n played up etc :wtf:

Yhh! I might spray paint the lower grill on the front bumper in black tomorrow if it int that cold lol..

I would like a turbo convertion but due to the high millage on her, she would need a engine rebuild to take it without blowing up etc.. then were talking money! :silent: lol... I really want to get a Astra VXR this year. Maybe in arden blue or saffire black! but if i want one i need to stop spending money on my coupe and start saving the rest of my money! lol :lol:

myn got high mileage too what you got on yours at min i just gone past 100,000 dont like the look of it on the clocks lol that should look good ya grill plus the main grill is black to 🙂

Mine has 135,100 now.. It was a company car when new. it was driven from p'boro to London back to p'boro each day clocking loads of miles on the motorway in 5th most of it miles. When the car hit 100,000 then car was sold on to the last owner, before me. he had it 3 years driving it 15 miles a day to work. then me 🙂 Ive done nearly 9,000 miles and ive only had her 6 months now! :wtf: lol

same myn was company car too so puts mind at rest a bit lol have you done any engine mods ??? i unsure to touch it a tall coz of the wear lol i had myn 4 months and done 5,000 lol

Nothing apart from the straight through Sportex mid section exhaust and rear stainless boxes. I did have a K&N cone air filter to start off with, did make a difference! and sound great too! 😃 But now have standard panel filter back in as someone said their better? dunno.. I think doing some light mods to the engine are ok. example: Air filter, Re-map, Exhuast de-cat, throttle body, 2.4 inlet mani etc...

Its made by ViVatek. I researched that they do Sat navs, Dvd players, HD TV's and monitors, Projectors etc. They mostly deal with large monitors for airports, art gallerys and cimemas! 🙂

It came today! It took me in total about 3 hours to fit!! :eh: lol Just that all of those cables/connections and wires on the back etc.. There were sooo many! Once wired up, I tried sliding the head unit in but it would'nt have it! lol. In the end i had to chop out the middle plastic bar out inside where the head unit sits in to allow space. I got it slotted in place, tried a dvd and no picutre! :wtf: Tried Tv mode... No picture. Atfer reading the manual 4-5 times i found out; in small print, it said connect the "brake wire" to the "Gound" to allow screen to operate properly. Then of course it worked after then :thumbup:

and god its good! just need to tune in the Tv now... Il do that on my lunch break tomorrow lol Il take some pics! 🙂
