Mark_Dj I have an air lock in my water system on my Astra Turbo. Any ideas how I can get rid of it? I replaced the radiator and all new water the other week. My temp is all over the place from 80 to over half way making the fan kick in alot. It may be normal on a Turbo car but I am not sure. Any advice would be great. Thanks
Baz the only thing i can think of is either the thermostat is knacked or when u flushed the old system was it clear before you put the new colant in notsure.gif
jon_mason Mark, my turbo sits at about 80 on a good long run, i.e motorway, every other time it sits at about 85. The fan on the turbo engine kicks in a 92, alot lower then the 2.2.
Mark_Dj My fan kicks in just after half way. It's sitting between 80 and half way some times notsure.gif . I don't know what they sit at normal, if you boot thew does the temp go up? Cheers
jon_mason I cant say that ive notived the temp go up if i boot it, but ive not had a good run in her for a while as it keeps raining  Normally it sits at about 85, driving slowly round town the temp creaps up and then sits at about 88-90. Ill keep an eye on mine a bit more and see how it reacts with a good thrashing. rallygif
Mark_Dj I have it sorted now. I did have an air lock but I have removed it 🙂. My temp sits just over 80 now 20.gif
