old_cruiser What is it with these cars and doing a simple oil level check!! just a pain everytime I check it on my 2.2; pull out dipstick wipe clean replace and each time I do this (during the same session)it's a different reading, really annoying, never really know what actual level I've got in the damn thing!! Vx can't even produce a dipstick that works properly!! :x Cheers Pete
JohnnyN I usually pull mine out (ooh er!), wipe it off, put it back in then twist it around a few times and then pull it back out. Give that a try and see how you go! :crazy:
