F23 gearbox

Ok i need a replacement gearbox, My car has the F23 gearbox fitted with the hydraulic clutch. Can anyone tell me are the gearboxes the same throughout the range or are there different F23 boxes?

There is a SR and a WR that I know of. Think the Wide ratio is only used in oil burners though. Vec C's are hydraulic if thats any help.

Thanks Rushy i know its a hydraulic clutch, The one i have seen is an xu any ideas on that one? I cant find a ref on mine to compare notsure.gif

the main difference is the gearbox mounting and starter motor position, you will need a box from a z22se or possibly a z22yh F23 box should fit being a veccy C gearbox

I have a z22yh M32 6 speed box on my z22se, but be careful whether you have a dual mass flywheel as the z22yh F23 box could be different due to that
