Well this was one of the most rewarding details I have done. Due to seen a tattyish corsa come back to former glory. This Detail was for a relative who really wanted something doing to the car. So my Dad and I offered to help to see if we could do something with it.
The car on arrival. Fairly dirty but at this stage wasn’t sure how oxidised the paint was.
After a fair few buckets and hosing down. The cleaning was done with old Schmitt’s and turtle wax car shampoo dried with a old megs WW towel, not that it needed much drying off :lol: :lol: the water just disappeared off the paint. We were left with a very sorry pink / white corsa. Check out the reflection of my car :lol:
Well i wasnt sure how good the paint work would come back :?
The passenger wing mirror was broke so we replaced that, the inside was hovered by my dad I taped up one side, I used the PC with Megs cutting pad and sonus SFX 2 polish this is the 50/50 after quite a few passes. I was over moon :o
Here is the roof with the 1/4 done.
Look at the reflection of the tree, from the non polished side to the polished i side i was very schocked.
After all the car was done we added some megs show glaze and a quick coat of poorboys natty blue, tyres and trim where done with megs trim detailer.
