Winter Clean

Made use of one of my Christmas presents from Kate today...a pressure washer :thumbup:
Bit of a pain due to location of house, for those that haven`t seen the pic I posted in another thread, this is my problem -

...but joined all my extension cables and purchased a 50m length of hose (to link to my existing one!!)

...then cleaned my car :clap:

You must have pretty good water pressure up there to run the pressure washer over that distance.

Thats some hose you have got! I would hate to live that far away from the tap lol. Car look nice and clean now 🙂

Certainly is a pain but a million times better than back & forth with buckets. Suprised just how much pressure there was with that length of hose.

Cant you get some type of water supply to the garage and have a tap , you could maybe share the tap with neighbours who have the same problem, and share the price of installation!

A few neighbours have offered use of taps, just feel akward helping myself sometimes.

There has been talk of widening the path so access is easier.....Id still use the garage, but cleaning....and 10 bags of shopping with the kids in tow when its raining isn`t much fun either. (+ delivery men love it when we order something heavy lol)

How about finding the fire hydrant in the road to connect upto. You wouldn't need a pressure washer then!! pmsl..

Desent pressure washer there by the looks of it Drakey! What bar pressure does it give out? Ive got a Karcher and gives out 160 bar! God, i couldnt do without it now! Love it! 😃

Might be worth looking into getting a Foam Lance now Drakey, and get some Snow Foam on the go!

I had a look for a lance bottle for my Wickes pressure washer but couldn't see anything that matched. I have got a bottle fitted to the pressure washer unit itself so maybe that's why thay might not do a lance attachment??

It depends on what type of fitment the Wickes one has John.

Ive a bottle attachment for soap, seems to empty really quickly though. dunno.. Maybe Im whacking the water through too quickly.
