Heavy Steering

Hi, i'm new to this and my car so was wondering if anyone can help.

I've the 2.2sri on a Y-Reg, and the steering seems quite heavy. Its responsive etc and all seems ok other than the fact its quite heavy?? Is this normal in these cars??

check the fluid level in the reservoir, it's a common fault on the veccy B's for the pipe joins to leak on top of the rack

Definitely not cheap or worn tyres, they're brand new tryes and they're a good brand too..

I've checked the fluid and seems fine, i gonna hazard a guess its because i'm not used to the car and got into it after a little new corsa?
