i have decided that with the tax money im getting back im going to look into the tuning of the engine somewhat in the vx220.

ive done some lightish reading and have come up with the following list.

air filter
inlet pipe (straight as possible)
polished and ported TB
2.4 Manifold

4-1 exhaust manifold
2.5" downpipe
200cell cat
2.5" U-Bend
VSE backbox
lightened flywheel
lightened pullys
remove balance shafts (still use mech pump) (http://www.levelzeromotorsports.com/sto ... 8ff674c991)
piper cams (vx22bp270)
rolling road remap

at the moment everything with a star infront is what i havent got/done, but i just wondered how everyone things it will run and the power/torque output i would see.

any other ideas would be nice 🙂

nice list there.
i reckon u could be looking at about 185 upwards with the list why not port and polish the head while u got it in bits to do the balancer shafts?? would make sence as the 2.4 manifold is some what useless with out a nice ported head.

ported head would be nice but im not sure i have the skill to do that.. i dont really know what is required to do the job either.. i will have to read up about it.

but other than that.. ignoring power as im not that fussed aslong as its over about 170ish then im happy, but how will it drive..? :thumbup:
