Changing timing belt 2.0 Turbo

Would I be able to do a timing belt on my 2.0 Turbo Astra Coupe? Or should I just get the dealer to do it seeing it's not that much to fit compared to them doing the 2.2 chain. I think it's £200 from the dealer to do. I think the timing belt kit is about £80. Cheers

it is much easier to replace the belt on the turbo you should be fine but you may need a cam locking tool you could do it with paint maks on the pulleys but thats not the best way. I'm sure the locking tool would be very cheap though. it's about a 45 min - 1 hour job to change a cam belt on the 20 ltr turbo.

Cheers for that. I will have a think about it lol. My mate has already told me to buy the better tensioners (Metal I think) for it, as the one you get with the kit break easier
